Blazing Heart Cards

Etteilla, the pseudonym of French occultist Jean-Baptiste Alliette, was the first to popularize cartomancy to a wide audience. Created around 1770, the Petit Etteilla was the first of several deck Etteilla designed, and it is the first deck known to have been created specifically for divination. Practical as well as esoteric, this is the deck used by Mdm Lenormand and other famous card readers of the day.  

The Petit Etteilla isn't as well known as it deserves to be, in part because most reprints have only offered the original French card meanings. Our tribute deck has been translated into English and illustrated with cards from our ‘From the Heart Oracle’
